In attendance were:

Old Business
The club officers are continuing to work on getting merchandise for the club
such as hats, t-shirts and stickers. Steve Stinson did show everyone the
new NFGFC flyer/brochures that were printed.
New Business
Steve announced that in the future that committees will be formed for club
functions and events that the club participates in such as the Big Bend
Saltwater Classic.
The next club tournament will be held on September 15th at the Rock Island
Landing. Blast off time will be 7:00 am.
Our first guest speaker was Capt. Vic Davis of Barefoot Charters. Capt.
Vic spoke on fishing the areas around Shell Point and some of the techniques he
uses. He also gave everyone a map of the area and pointed out different
fishing hot spots as well as some of the many navigational hazards. After
speaking Capt. Vic gave everyone samples courtesy of Riptide and Greedy Gut lure
Companies.
Our second speaker was Wayne Jordan of Carolina Skiff. Wayne has a dealership
in Crawfordville and brought some literature on the different boats Carolina
Skiff makes. Wayne also expressed an interest in perhaps sponsoring
a Classic Tournament at the end of the year.
Our last speaker was Steve Burke of Bellflower Marine in Tallahassee.
Steve spoke on the boats and services Bellflower has and even brought a brand
new Back Country flats boat for the club to look at. Everyone was very
impressed by the boat.
The next meeting will be held on September 13th at 7:00 pm.
