Lisa Spooner spoke on behalf of Hands Helping Anglers, an event that allows disabled adults the chance to fish with some of the areas Captains who volunteer to take them fishing.  The club expressed interest in helping out at the next event that is held.

The new club fee structure was out lined and will go into effect in July-August.  The new fees are outlined on the club web page.

The club decided to forego a July fishing tournament and instead will sponsor a scalloping trip.  The date will be July 28 at 9:00 am and will be held at the St. Marks Lighthouse.

Next meeting will be held Thursday July 12, 2001.

Meeting location will be at Buckhead Brewery  in Tallahassee at 7:00 pm.

Capt. Pat McGriff of One More Cast Guide Service was the clubs guest speaker.  Capt. McGriff focused his talk on fishing for trout for live bait, but was more than willing to answer any questions the attendees had.  He even stayed after to show some of his favorite baits and rigging techniques.  Thanks also to Saltwater Assassin for supplying an assortment of baits for the club to sample.
